3 Day Siwa Oasis Tour from Cairo, From $270

The Siwa oasis is one of the Western Desert’s most magical areas, but it’s more than an 8-hour drive from Cairo. Explore the Great Sand Sea by 4WD, with dune bashing, sandboarding, and a desert sunset; see salt lakes, ancient ruins, Fatnis Island, and more.

Day 1- Cairo, Marsa Matrouh, Siwa Desert Safari, overnight at Hot spring camp

After a 4 hour drive from Cairo, with one stop at the rest house after a 2 hour drive, we will have breakfast in Marsa Matrouh, one of the most beautiful cities on the Mediterranean. Enjoy your breakfast and your drive through the Corniche area. Will continue another 4 hours driving with one stop at the rest house to reach Fontas Island where you are going to get tea at sunset time, then to your hotel to rest from the long drive.

Upon arrival in Siwa, we will start our lovely part of the trip and go to the Great Sand Sea by the 4×4 Desert Safari Land Cruise. you will enjoy the Dune Bashing, Sand Boarding and watching the sunset from the desert side with Siwan Tea and snacks. One of the beautiful stops at the desert, you will have the chance to swim at the cold lake, it is a natural lake at the heart of the desert..

After the sunset time you will have a delicious dinner at hot spring camp at the heart of the desert, following by star gazing and meditation, you will over night at the hot spring desert camp, watching the stars

Day 2- Siwa Oasis

After your delicious breakfast, we will start our tour today at 9am hiding at the Mountain of the dead,then set off to see the Temple of the Oracle of Amun, our tour guide will let you enjoy the history of the temple. Swim at Cleopatra’s pool, and visit the Dakrour mountain.

Time to watch the sunset from Fitnas Island, enjoy the view with fresh juice included and you also can ride the paddle-boat. Visit and learn about the Siwan people’s culture and history at the Siwan house and the Old Shali fortress of Siwa.

Day 3- Back to Cairo

We will have a walking city tour of the small city Siwa, then we will drive back to Cairo with 2 stops at rest houses, the drive will take around 8 hours to reach Cairo
