Day 1- Arrival in Cairo
You will be picked up at one of our hotel pick up points or the Cairo airport.
Transfer by car to your hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, you will check in and be given detailed information concerning your excursion for tomorrow.
Day 2- Giza Pyramids / Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, enjoy an unique excursion to the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus & to the oldest known monumental sculpture and the largest monolith statue in the world, the great Sphinx.Visit also the Valley Temple, which was attributed to king Chefren and had been used for the mummification process.
Then pay a visit to the Egyptian Museum where you can see the collection of Tutankhamen among other splendid pharaonic artefacts. Continue to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Shopping in the lively Khan El Khalili Bazaar, which dates back to 1382. Back to the hotel, night in Cairo.
Day 3- Cruise from Luxor
Check out from the hotel in the morning then transfer to Cairo Airport for a flight to Luxor where you will be met and assisted, then taken by an air-conditioned car to board your 5 star Egypt Nile cruise.
After lunch on board, visit the impressive Karnak Temples and Luxor Temple. Dinner and night on board
Day 4- Sailing to Edfu
After a good night’s rest and breakfast your guide will escort you for a visit to the legendary Valley of the Kings where there are many kings buried in this valley The most known tombs are King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tutankhamun, King Ramses VI, King Mrenptah and AmonhotepII.
Move to the temple of Queen Hatchepsuit. This majestic Temple is built into the actual Mountains.
We will now journey onto the Colossi of Memnon, the huge twin Statues, where you have the opportunity to take some really fabulous photographs. When you have finished your tours take a comfortable drive back to your Nile cruise to enjoy your lunch on board. Now sail on to Edfu.
Day 5- Edfu/Kom Ombo temples
After breakfast, visit the well-preserved Ptolemaic Temple dedicated to Horus at Edfu. Sailing to Kom Ombo to see the unique Temple of Sobek, dedicated toSobek the crocodile god, and Horus the falcon-headed god. Lunch on board. Continue sailing to Aswan. Dinner on board.
Day 6- Aswan Sightseeing
Time to enjoy a fabulous day of sightseeing in Aswan. Let us start with a visit to the engineering miracle the High Dam which is known all over the world and controls all of Egypt’s water. Journey on to the Unfinished Obelisk, this amazing Obelisk weighs 1,168 tonnes. Continue now to visit the majestic Phella Temple built for the Goddess Isis who represents Wisdom, Marriage and Health. Back to your cruise.
Day 7-8 Back to Cairo
After breakfast, transfer to Aswan Airport for your return to Cairo where you will be met and assisted at the airport then taken to your hotel.
