2 Days, 1 Night Hike of Mount Toubkal, From $202
Embark on a challenging yet immensely rewarding 2-day trek to conquer Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains. Begin your journey by meeting your guide and heading south to the picturesque village of Imlil, a well-known starting point for Toubkal ascents. As you ascend, take in the sights of the sacred Sidi Chamharouch and enjoy a lunch break. Continue your hike until you reach the Toubkal refuge at 3,207 meters, where you’ll spend the night. On the second day, rise early and start your summit climb before the sun’s intense heat. Take in the breathtaking vistas from the summit, then descend back to the hut for a hearty lunch. Afterward, trek back to Imlil and return to Marrakech. This unforgettable journey promises awe-inspiring mountain views and a glimpse of traditional Berber villages.

Day 1-Toubkal
You will be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech or from Menara airport. After being picked up by your guide, you will be taken in the direction of the south, towards the High Atlas Mountains After approximately an hour, we arrive in the High Atlas Mountains and make our way to the settlement of Imlil, which is known as a popular starting location for ascents of Toubkal (1740m). Here you will meet our group muleteers and start walking.(1 hour)
Explore the neighbourhood of Imlil and make your way up the mountain while passing by the holy man of Sidi Chamharouch, where you will stop for lunch. After that, carry on up the mountain until you reach the Toubkal refuge at 3,207 metres, where you will spend the night. 5 to 6h walking.
Day2- Toubkal
You should wake up early to avoid the sunshine path, eat breakfast about 5:00 am, and start the upward climb at 5:30 am. Each of you might need to carry his own pack-lunch, step by step, until you arrive at the point above the hut when you take a brief break with snacks. A stop of forty-five minutes on the summit will allow you to take pictures and enjoy the views before heading down to the hut, where a varied lunch will be waiting for you. After walking for three or four hours up the hill, you will have a view of all the high Atlas Mountains that is similar to the view from an aeroplane. You will also have a stunning view of the green valleys and the Berber villages. Following lunch, you will continue your descent into Imlil along the same path. After that, we will transport you to Marrakech.
